First came Milk Beach, the all-day Australian restaurant from two-time coffee roasting champion Matthew Robley-Siemonsma and Elliot Milne, serving natural wines, brunch, bowls (poke and greens), and a dinner menu that has multicultural, innovative combinations. Then came Carmel, from the much-loved east institution Berber & Q, with atmospheric lighting and good vibes, wines from low-intervention producers, and small plates.
