Hallyu! The Korean Wave, V&A South Kensington
From 24 September

Using cinema, music, fandoms and drama, this exhibition explores the phenomenom of ‘hallyu’ or ‘Korean Wave’. The exhibition has over 200 objects – K-pop costumes, K-drama posters, fashion, video, pop culture momentos – as well as digital displays across four thematic sections.

GoBoat, Paddington
Now until 31 October

Hit the ‘high seas’ with up to 8 people (total) in your boat, and cruise up the canal, seeing London from a new perspective. Choose a 1, 2, or 3 hour trip, pack a picnic, and get ready to drive yourself (no license necessary) on a special day out. Ahoy!

Condé Nast Traveller Presents: The Luxury Travel Fair, Olympia London
3-6 November

Want some travel inspiration? Then head to Olympia London for The Luxury Travel Fair, in partnership with Condé Nast Traveller. The UK’s only travel show for luxury travel, there will be stands from leading travel operators, as well as a Louis Roederer Champagne Bar, talks with experts, and a pop-up Mosimann’s Winter Restaurant.

Halloween at Chiswick House & Gardens, Chiswick
14-31 October

New this year, wind your way from dusk to darkness through the Chiswick House haunted woods. There will be fire artists and grinning pumpkins, neon cobwebs, wicked witches, large spiders and a Secret Garden full of surprises. For treats there will be hot toddies and chocolates. Happy Halloween.

DORIAN, Notting Hill
Opening late October

Be one of the first into DORIAN, the new restaurant by Christ D’Sylva (of the excellent Notting Hill Fish + Meat Shop and the Supermarket of Dreams) and three other hospitality heavyweights. Billing itself as a seasonal British bistro and wine bar, the team come from some of London’s best restaurants including The River Café, Core and Kitchen Table.
