Already a hit with locals, Sudu is a new Malaysian neighbourhood restaurant from the family that brought London the Satay House – only this time it’s the kids who are at the helm, with a shorter, more dynamic menu. There are classic greats from their parents’ restaurant, but they also have dishes that are more Malaysian street food with a London twist; they have a good cocktail list, and will have Malaysian breakfasts and a basement speakeasy, too. Their Salisbury Road location means they’re right in the heart of things, and they also have bar dining should you want to try to just walk in and try your luck. Booking, however, is advised as it’s one busy place! Sudu is currently open Weds-Sunday.
