TOP 5 – Summer Events
Summer is here! And we couldn’t be happier. Here are some events for your diary.
Hyper JapaN

Olympia Events
For three days, Japan comes to W14, with fashion, food, tech, gaming, manga and anime – it’s all here. The atmosphere is celebratory and whatever day you visit, it’s a great way to soak up J culture.
Taste of London Festival

Regent’s Park
Another annual great, Taste of London is an excellent place to try dishes from some of London’s top restaurants and chefs. This year, participating restaurants include Norma (Sicilian), Empire Empire (Indian with a focus on charcoal-grilled kebabs and retro vibes), Bébé Bob (rotisserie chicken), Akira Back (haute Japanese), alongside a roster of chefs, artisan producers, and different brand-led activations. Look out for demonstrations from Dana Choi, head chef at Korean restaurant Engel & Jang, by D3 Collective, who will be heading up the multi-faceted hospitality offering coming to Olympia’s Pillar Hall soon. Read more about D3 Collective via our interview with Des Gunewardena, founder and CEO, here.
BST Hyde Park

Hyde Park
Always a summer highlight, this year’s performers at BST are part of the LOVE, LIGHT & SONG 2025 lineup. There’s someone for everyone here with Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Wonder all confirmed for nights, with more to be announced. For eight weekdays, they’ll also run Open House, with free activities like Wimbledon screenings and DJ afternoons. BST Hyde Park is produced by AEG Presents, who look after everything from curating the stellar lineups and managing the site, to ensuring a fantastic experience for everyone who attends. We can’t wait to welcome AEG Presents to Olympia with their purpose built music venue.
TENNIS

Wimbledon
30 June-13 July
Wimbledon! For those who have tickets, enjoy it. For those who don’t, remember you can always get up early, try your luck and queue. This year, there will be an app to assist with the waitlist, and there’s a queue village to make things more comfortable; read full details about the queue system here. There’s also, of course, the hill, where you can bring your own picnic and merriment to watch the game, and several parks (Hyde Park) and public spaces (the lawn at the Television Centre White City) in west London will be showing the game, so keep your eyes out. If you’re a member of Queen’s Club, that’s, of course, an excellent option, too.
Notting Hill Carnival

Notting Hill
Considered the largest street event in Europe, if you aren’t familiar with Carnival, Sunday is family day and Monday is adults day, but both are great! As it’s busy, it’s good to have a bit of a plan before you go: where to start, what to see, and where to meet should you lose someone in your group. Watching the bands come through is always a highlight, as is the Deviation sound system on St Luke’s Road. Get a whistle, be safe, have fun.
