WELLBEING

Our round up of West London summertime picks.

West London

Planet Organic has moved a few doors down on Westbourne Grove (to number 108, from 42), and it’s now shiny, new, and still stocked with great health-forward products, with excellent coffees at the front.

If you want to try some of the more advanced wellbeing therapies, Repose, new on Kensington High Street, has biohacking treatments like hyperbaric oxygen therapy, altitude therapy, as well as more classic treatments and fitness classes.

Rather head outside now that it’s summer? For splash parks, check out Ravenscourt and Kensington Memorial Park. For the adults and bigger kids, a little further (just over an hour on the train) is Hillingdon Lido.

And if you’d prefer to run, West London’s largest half marathon is coming up on 28 September.  To prepare, train with the One Track Club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6:45-8pm) at the Duke of York track behind the Saatchi Gallery, SW3. Too far? There’s the Nike Run Club app too, where you can choose coach-led sessions to motivate you and keep you on track; it’s almost like having a private training session.
